Let’s dig into the details and help you decide if Flexoffers deserves a spot in your affiliate marketing strategy.

What Is Flexoffers?

Flexoffers is an affiliate network that has been around since 2008. I remember them being around at that time but never joined until about 2021.

The network is a well-established player in the affiliate marketing space, boasting over 12,000 advertisers and catering for over 75,000 publishers, both beginners and experienced marketers alike.

What I really like about Flexoffers is the broad range of programs across various industries from fashion and technology to health and finance. And they keep adding advertisers every day from my observation.

Flexoffers is a great place to start if you’re a beginner in affiliate marketing. There are lots of brands to work with and the signup and approval process is straight-forward.

Getting Started with Flexoffers

Getting started with Flexoffers is relatively straightforward, though they do have some specific requirements.

To join, you’ll need an active website or social media presence with regular engagement. The application process involves providing details about your promotional methods and traffic sources.

Once you submit your application, approval typically takes 24-48 hours. Flexoffers reviews each application manually to maintain quality in their network. After approval, you’ll gain access to their dashboard, which might look overwhelming at first but becomes intuitive with use.

The initial setup involves completing your payment information and tax forms. Flexoffers provides a quick start guide that walks you through the essential steps, from finding your first program to creating your first affiliate link.

To walk you through the signup process, here’s what you need to do. On the homepage, click on “Publishers” in the header menu. Then follow the steps below.

Step 1: Click the signup button

Publisher is just another name for affiliate. This page is where you’ll start the signup process. After clicking on the “Sign up” button, you’ll be presented with the form and instructions to get you registered.

Step 2: Fill in basic account info

Flexoffers account info

On the signup page, you’ll be presented with a multi-step form to register. The first step is to fill in basic account information consisting of:

  • Your first and last name
  • Email address (and confirmation)
  • Create a password (and confirm it)

The terms and conditions are also presented for you to read. You will need to check box to agree to the terms before hitting the register button.

Step 3: Verify your email address

After clicking on the register button, you’ll get a popup asking you to verify your email address. Clicking on the continue button will exit the page.

The verification link in your email expires 24 hours after you receive it so be sure to verify your email within that timeframe.

After you click the verification link, you’ll be taken to the login page where you’ll use the password you created with your email address to sign in.

Step 4: Enter your company/personal info

The next step says “company info” but you can enter your personal details which includes:

  • Your name
  • Address
  • Mobile phone number

A link at the top that says “Finish Later” does not skip this step. If you click it, you’ll be logged out. When you log back in, you’ll be presented with the same form.

Step 5: Enter your traffic sources

Next, you’re going to add your traffic sources. This is anywhere you plan to put your affiliate links and do promotions for brands on Flexoffers.

Here, you can add your website or websites, or your social media account. There are other traffic sources listed as well but these aren’t as popular as the two mentioned.

When you choose a traffic source to add, you’ll get the form below in which you’ll add details of your traffic source by answer some questions.

Entering your website as traffic source in Flexoffers

The info you place here is displayed to brands you apply to so they can know what to expect from your promotions.

The form is different for every type of traffic source. For example, the website form will ask about traffic, the social media form will ask about follower size, and so on.

Step 6: Enable Two-Factor Authentication

This step is required “to access administrative pages in your account”. There are instructions for setting this up on your Android or iPhone devices.

You’ll be asked to add the Google Authenticator app to your phone and then adding a code to the app in order to authenticate your account.

Step 7: Wait for approval

You’re all set after you’ve added two-factor authentication. You’ll need to wait for approval.

Flexoffers says that it will take up to 2 business days but my application took 4 business days before it was approved. Other users have reported that it could take up to 10 days so you’ll need to exercise some patience waiting on approval. They will send you a message regardless of if they approve or decline your application.

What Brands Can I Promote?

This is where Flexoffers really shines. The platform hosts thousands of well-known brands across diverse categories.

You’ll find major players like Nike, Samsung, and Microsoft alongside smaller, niche-specific companies. Many of these brands primarily work with other affiliate networks while some are exclusive to Flexoffers.

Here’s what you can expect:

Fashion and Retail: Brands like Macy’s, Nike, and Forever 21 offer competitive commission rates, typically ranging from 5% to 15% per sale.

Technology: Companies such as Dell, HP, Acer, and various software providers often provide higher commissions, sometimes reaching 20% or more.

Health and Wellness: From vitamin suppliers to fitness equipment manufacturers, this category features brands like MyProtein, Nutrisystem, and Sole Fitness.

Financial Services: Credit card companies, investment platforms, and insurance providers often offer fixed commissions that can range from $50 to $200 per qualified lead.

The program approval process varies by advertiser. Some approve automatically, while others review each application individually. Most advertisers look for relevant content alignment and genuine traffic before they approve you.

Platform Features and Tools

Flexoffers provides several tools to help you succeed. Their link generator creates clean, trackable affiliate links in seconds. You can customize these links and even create shortened versions for social media.

The reporting dashboard stands out with its comprehensive analytics. You can track:

  • Real-time clicks and conversions
  • Commission earnings by program
  • Payment history
  • Performance trends over time

They also provide deep linking tools, allowing you to link directly to specific products rather than just homepage URLs. This feature significantly improves conversion rates as it creates a smoother user experience.

The creative asset library includes banners, product images, and text links for most programs. While some networks charge for API access, Flexoffers provides it free to approved publishers, allowing you to automate many aspects of your affiliate marketing efforts.

How Does Flexoffers Pay?

Payment terms are net-60, meaning you’ll receive your earnings 60 days after the end of the month in which you earned them. The minimum payment threshold is $25, which is lower than many competing networks.

They offer multiple payment methods:

  • Direct deposit (US only)
  • PayPal
  • Wire transfer (threshold is $1000)
  • International ACH
  • Check

There are some fees associated with payments depending on your method of choice and your location. You can find all the fee info and payment related terms in Flexoffers’ terms and conditions.

Pros (What I Like About Flexoffers)

Since joining Flexoffers, this affiliate network has quickly become one of my favorites. Here’s why:

  • Wide selection of advertisers to work with across many niches
  • Clean and easy-to-navigate user-interface
  • Reliable and on-time payments
  • Multiple payment options including PayPal.
  • Very good linking tools and resources

The variety of affiliate programs gives you plenty of options to find relevant ones in your niche. I found a bunch here that I couldn’t find on any of the other networks for a website I had just started.

Their payment system is reliable and consistent, with most publishers reporting on-time payments. I love that they offer PayPal even though there’s a $1 fee to receive payment.

Another thing I really love is the linking tools. You can make a short link when creating your affiliate link. Most programs have tonnes of banner links you can use also.

Cons (Things Flexoffers Can Improve On)

Flexoffers isn’t perfect though and there are some things I think they can improve on. Here’s what I mean.

  • Customer support response times can be slow
  • Some brands can deactivate regularly
  • Some brands offer surprisingly low rates

Customer support sometimes takes 24-48 hours to respond, which can be frustrating when you need quick answers. This is especially evident when you’re waiting on your registration approval. My application was approved in 4 days and some users have reported up to a 10-day wait.

Commission rates vary significantly between programs, and some popular brands offer surprisingly low rates. I’m talking about rates less than 1% which is ridiculous.

One issue I have been encountering lately is with a particular advertiser who deactivates their program regularly. My links still track and report sales but no commissions are awarded because the advertiser is inactive.

Support and Resources

Flexoffers provides support through:

  • Email ticket system
  • Live chat (during business hours)
  • Phone support (during business hours)
  • Knowledge base

The knowledge base covers most common issues, though finding specific information sometimes requires digging.

As mentioned before, the support system could use some improvements with regards to response time. I’ve never used the live chat but it’s good to know that this is an option during business hours if you need a quick response.

Final Words

Flexoffers proves to be a solid choice for affiliate marketers at any experience level. The combination of well-known brands, reliable payments, and useful tools makes it worth considering for your affiliate marketing portfolio.

While it’s not perfect, with varying support response times, the positives outweigh the negatives.

For beginners, it’s an excellent platform to start with, thanks to its user-friendly interface and low payout threshold. Experienced marketers will appreciate the diverse program selection and API access. Whether you’re just starting or looking to expand your affiliate marketing efforts, Flexoffers is an excellent choice to consider.

If you’re ready to get started, head over to the Flexoffers website to begin your application. Remember to have your website or social media profiles ready for review, and take time to plan which brands align best with your audience.
